Pregnancy Brings Crazy Things

Being 18 weeks pregnant, I have learned that anything can happen...in dreamland! I am a dreamer. I've always had dreams and wake up sharing them with my sweet husband and/or friends. I had heard that with pregnancy comes crazy dreams...but I didn't realize HOW crazy. I've woken up a couple times this week and shared my dreams with my husband and he told me that I need to start writing them down. If you are looking to read something intellectual here, you have come to the wrong place. These dreams are out of left field and just plain silly...

...I was about 18 weeks pregnant and walked into a doctors office asking for an ultrasound just to check that baby was O.K. They told me that they could do better than just show me the baby on an ultrasound...that they could cut the baby out and let me hold it, then just put it back in. "Well, if you've done it before...why not!?" I replied. They quickly made an incision and handed me a baby the size of a small butter nut squash. It was weird. The baby was smiling at me and making cute baby faces. WEIRD, but precious. So I asked them to put it back in my belly and that's when they told me that they hadn't exactly perfected the whole "getting baby back in mommy" thing...this is when I woke up...NIGHTMARE AVERTED!

...Colston decides that he needs to go on The Bachelor. Even though he was married, he thought that he would just go and have fun. So I find myself in the top two with a total stranger. Colston had to choose between us. I thought I had it in the bag...after all, I was his wife, I had the upper hand. Not in this dream! Colston decided to test us and see how "outdoorsy" we were. He set up a bed for each of us with blankets and insect nets out in the woods. I thought "I can do this...I love camping..I'm totally going to win". But Colston had a different plan. He created a beautiful, comfy bed with down comforters and all white linens. He had secretly planned that whoever would choose that bed, he would choose to propose to. Unfortunately...I did not choose the beautiful bed, but the other girl did. He chose her and I had to pack my bags! He said he was sorry, and I was confused. "We have a dog together...and a baby...and a laptop." I told the show's host. Then I ran into Colston's mom and grandmother in the hotel lobby after I had packed my bags. I LOST it and was overcome by gut wrenching tears and sobs. I was so confused...What about our DOG!?....Then I woke up...Mr. Copeland...Don't even think about it ;).

I am so blessed!

I must brag on my husband a little..he has been so good to me!
A few weeks ago, I was feeling homesick. It wasn't the first time I had mentioned it to Colston when he noticed I was down, but this time I let myself cry it out (Which I'm finding out is a GREAT way to relieve stress when done in moderation). I felt better and didn't think much of it as I went to work the next day. Well, when I came home Colston said he had a suprise for me, and went to the computer. He pulled up a page that had roundtrip tickets for me to fly home for the entire next week! I was so thrilled and began crying AGAIN. I couldn't believe that he would be that thoughtful (although he's always been thoughtful!). So there I went! I had an amazing time while I was home. It was the perfect remedy and time much needed with my far away family. I wanted to post some pictures that my sister and I took. Also, I was able to spend time with close friends of the family and their twins Drew and Laney. Amazing how fast kids grow up!
God has really been blessing me in all the little things lately. I can't do anything but stand in awe at His Magnificence and Glory..through all my mistakes and shortcomings, He stands ready and willing to forgive. I am nothing without Him, and I want the world to know that THEY TOO can have His unconditional and unfailing LOVE! They can have the gift of His Son and life eternal praising Him!:) whew! I am so blessed!

Where has the time gone?

Wow..It is end of March already! I can't believe how fast the time is going these days..just yesterday I married the man of my dreams, and here we are almost 8 months later! Our busy lives seem to only get busier, but it has been a growing time for me because I don't do busy super well. (LOL) I dont know what I would do without Colston by my side..he is always so calm and level-minded. God sure knew what He was doing when He crossed our paths!
Anyways, this past week we had two of our very good friends in town on their Spring Break. Caleb and Kathryn! We hung out with them everyday and had a great time. I wanted to post some pictures from our night at TBN where we saw Kirk Cameron and Francis Chan (COlston was soo excited to meet Francis!) They also were there to help us with our big Scarf and Barf activity. The activity sounds like a nightmare (who wants to watch kids eat until they puke? I certainly did not!) But it ended up being alot of fun and the kids loved it!
God has blessed us with wonderful friends, and a ministry that has been changing our lives and shaping up my character (Slowly but surely!)
We are looking forward to a trip to BBC in SPringfield in May and then Summer vacation! It will be here before we know it...

All it takes is a little MotiVaTion!

Colston and I went shopping today out in Elsinore, which is a little bit south of Corona. They have a bunch of Outlets out there and Shannon Moore was telling me about the great deals that they got at the Nike outlet. Colston and I thought we'd check it out, and boy did we find some deals!! We have been getting back into the gym, but new workout clothes always give you a little more motivation.. hehe. I thought that I would post showing our new clothes, and I couldn't resist showing off my new shoes (they are EXTREMELY comfortable!! Don'tmind the extremely cheezy pose!)

P.S- it was a BEAUTIFUl day today..No one can deny a Creator God here! His artwork is all around us. I don't mind sunny 65 degree weather at all...:)

A walk down Memory Lane

It is incredible how fast time has flown...I was looking through our pictures on the computer and found an album from a trip to Nashville. Colston and I had just started talking seriously about dating while I was in my second semester at Liberty and he was at BBC. We thought it would be fun to grab a couple friends and meet up halfway between our two schools. Lucky for us, it was Nashville! Colston's friend backed out, so it ended up being Colston, my friend Audrey and me. We had a GREAT time, and my crush on Colston grew! :) Looking back, it has already been 2 years since then. I am so thankful that I had the chance to travel to some pretty cool places (CA more than anywhere) while Colston and I dated. God worked it all out, and here we are today! So happily married and watching God move mountains. Here are a few pictures from our Nashville trip...I will post current pictures as soon as we take them!

Do a little Dance!

Today has been pretty exciting for me. I signed up on Twitter because Colston was using it, so I thought I'd try it too. It is actually a really cool site that keeps you posted, Literally, by text message. When a person you are following updates their Twitter by sending a text message to it, you instantly get a text with the update they sent. Anyways, Chalene Johnson, who is a hero of mine, is also on Twitter. (She is the founder and ball of energy of Turbojam. It is a style of workout that is martial arts, kickboxing and dancing. SO EXTREMELY FUN!) I have loved her since my first turbojam experience about 3 or 4 years ago. Well, I sent her a message on twitter...and she responded!!! It TRUELY made my day! I know it is silly, but I admire her for her work ethic and enthusiasm about changing peoples lives. I will soon begin my journey of getting my bachelors in nutrition and fitness and I can't wait! There is a chance that I will take a Turbojam certification class sometime in the future to be able to teach turbojam...but we will see!!! God has placed this desire and passion in my heart to help people become healthy, and have fun doing it! I want Him to use me to help uplift people and serve Him doing it! I can't wait.:) It is time to go now...American Idol begins in a couple minutes!! Stay Posi.
