Being 18 weeks pregnant, I have learned that anything can happen...in dreamland! I am a dreamer. I've always had dreams and wake up sharing them with my sweet husband and/or friends. I had heard that with pregnancy comes crazy dreams...but I didn't realize HOW crazy. I've woken up a couple times this week and shared my dreams with my husband and he told me that I need to start writing them down. If you are looking to read something intellectual here, you have come to the wrong place. These dreams are out of left field and just plain silly...
...I was about 18 weeks pregnant and walked into a doctors office asking for an ultrasound just to check that baby was O.K. They told me that they could do better than just show me the baby on an ultrasound...that they could cut the baby out and let me hold it, then just put it back in. "Well, if you've done it before...why not!?" I replied. They quickly made an incision and handed me a baby the size of a small butter nut squash. It was weird. The baby was smiling at me and making cute baby faces. WEIRD, but precious. So I asked them to put it back in my belly and that's when they told me that they hadn't exactly perfected the whole "getting baby back in mommy" thing...this is when I woke up...NIGHTMARE AVERTED!
...Colston decides that he needs to go on The Bachelor. Even though he was married, he thought that he would just go and have fun. So I find myself in the top two with a total stranger. Colston had to choose between us. I thought I had it in the bag...after all, I was his wife, I had the upper hand. Not in this dream! Colston decided to test us and see how "outdoorsy" we were. He set up a bed for each of us with blankets and insect nets out in the woods. I thought "I can do this...I love camping..I'm totally going to win". But Colston had a different plan. He created a beautiful, comfy bed with down comforters and all white linens. He had secretly planned that whoever would choose that bed, he would choose to propose to. Unfortunately...I did not choose the beautiful bed, but the other girl did. He chose her and I had to pack my bags! He said he was sorry, and I was confused. "We have a dog together...and a baby...and a laptop." I told the show's host. Then I ran into Colston's mom and grandmother in the hotel lobby after I had packed my bags. I LOST it and was overcome by gut wrenching tears and sobs. I was so confused...What about our DOG!?....Then I woke up...Mr. Copeland...Don't even think about it ;).
